April 4, 1940 - January 29, 2021

It is with great sadness that our family share that Marion passed away peacefully after a brief battle with COVID. Best friend and beloved wife of Ted for 57 years. Loving mother to Ted Jr. (Kerry), Paul (David), Becky, and Heather (Hugh), and grandmother to Alexandra, Emma, and Aidan Farrell, Jared and Joshua Farrell-Smagata, Chase Woon, Kobe Beaton, and Keith Lama. Dear sister to Danny (Shirley) Murray and Edith Noy. Survived by several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all. Marion grew up on a farm in Woodstock before leaving to train as a registered nurse. After marrying Ted, they settled in Brantford and started a family. Marion loved working as a Registered Nurse at the Brantford General Hospital and Beverly Hills Nursing Home before retiring from St. Joseph's Hospital; she was dedicated and caring with her patients while supporting their families. Some of Marion's best friends were the nurses she worked with. Marion was a very proud mother and grandmother who could never see enough of her family. She created a loving environment for all and was apt to describe situations with a quick wit. While facing some painful health challenges later in life, she never complained and always focused on others. The family wishes to thank Dr. Weiss and all of the nurses and hospital staff for their compassionate care.
