Yvon Deschênes

Yvon Deschênes, 72, of Moncton, passed away on Friday April 16, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont. Born in Rivière-Verte, he was the son of the late Adesse and Antoinette (Beaulieu) Deschênes.

He is survived by his wife for 24 years, Charline née Roy; his daughter, Chrysilla Deschênes; his granddaughter, Cassidy Duffy; 10 sisters and brothers: Roger (Léanne), Donald (Jeannette), Noëlla (Roger), Dora (René), Rosaire (Linda), Marcel (Charline), Fernande Taylor (Rob), Marcella Thériault (Renauld), Lise Duguay, and Gilles (Tina); one sister-in-law, Wendy Deschênes; one brother-in-law, Léopold Clavette; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters: Lorraine (Eno) and Ginette; and one brother, Fernand.

In accordance to his wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre and no funeral service. Interment will be in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska. In memory of Yvon, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
