MCKELLAR, Kenneth (Ken) Sutherland

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth (Ken) Sutherland McKellar on Sunday May 16, 2021 at age 73. Best friend and loving husband to wife Barb (née Gould). He will always be the love of her life. Ken was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by his siblings Gord (Pat), Jean (Bill), Doris (Dawson) (John), and Isobel. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Grant and Helen McKellar.

Ken was an Associate Professor at King's University College Western University. He was dedicated to his profession and his students. He was known to be kind, compassionate, and encouraging. He taught and wrote and lived with integrity - and with a great deal of humour.

Ken valued his friends and the time they spent together. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humility, his loyalty, his sense of humour and his quick wit. He will be greatly missed.

Special thanks of gratitude to Dr. S. Mehta, Dr. L. Barra and the CCTU in Victoria Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Ken's memory donations may be made to Vasculitis Foundation Canada (vasculitis.ca), the Ontario Veterinary Pet Trust Fund (ovc.uoguelph.ca), or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements entrusted to the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, 519-425-1600.

Personal condolences may be posted at www.mcbeathdynes.ca.
