Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, September 25, 2021 Flossie Mae Tanner of Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late George Albert Tanner. Dear loving mother of Gwen and Greg Black, Sandy and Paul Yeoman, Steve Tanner and Bill Tanner. Loved Grandmother to Nathan (Wendy) Yeoman, Joey Yeoman, Philip Tanner, James Tanner, Brad Tanner and Jamie Desmond. Great-Grandmother to Max and Reed, and Damien and Aryanna. Sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews and in-laws. Survived by her brother Bob (Val) Tabor. Predeceased by her many brothers and sisters. Flossie enjoyed a full life. She owned and operated Oxford Centre Village Market for a number of years and worked at Gerrards, Harvey Woods and Wal-Mart. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing cards and raising her family in a house full of love and laughter. A private family service will take place at a later date. The family wish to thank the nurses and Doctors of the Palliative Care Unit of the Woodstock Hospital, and a special thank you to Dr. Nichols as well as PSW Stacey and Kim for their tender care.
