Following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, Adelle passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Monday October 11, 2021. K. Adelle Irwin (nee Robinson) of Mount Elgin in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Lloyd D. Irwin for over 59 years. Loved mother of Barry, Brenda, Marina and Bill (Julie) Irwin. Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Caitlynn, Jonathon (Lianne) and Jayde, and great-grandmother of Liam, Lexi and Elijah. Also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Adelle was the baby of the Robinson girls and was predeceased by her sisters Lois (Jack), Sheila (Les), Marlene (Ed). Adelle was a longtime member of the Mount Elgin United Church where she was active in the choir finding great joy singing soprano, taking on leadership roles for the UCW as well as being superintendent for Sunday School. She belonged to the Women's Institute for decades and loved acting as registrar for the United Church Camps Bimini and Tanner. Adelle's family would like to express their deep gratitude for the care and support provided by many former and recent PSW's. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday October 14, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Friday October 15, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Friends must RSVP to attend the visitation and service on the funeral home website either by direct reservation or calling 519-539-0004.
