Marian O'Meara (nee Tierney) of Aylmer passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on August 23, 2022 at the age of 78 after a brief illness.
Loving mother of Ian (Angelique) O'Meara, Gina (Beven) Allen and Bryan (Peggy) O'Meara. She will be missed by her grandchildren Alex, Noah, Dylan, Tristan and Henry. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Anne Tierney. Survived by her brother Mike (Jean) Tierney as well as several nieces and nephews.
Marian was born in Oldham England and emigrated to Canada in 1965. She worked at Purina Chow in Woodstock for several years, then mustered up the courage to open up a small business selling Mexican giftware and clothing. She had a love for travel, laughing and spending time with friends and family and had a special connection to animals.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
