Passed away suddenly after complications due to lung cancer on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in his 59th year. Dear partner of Angela Sjaarda. Loving father of Alicia (Henry) Wagner, Eric (Stephanie) Sjaarda, and Evan (Takeiyah) Sjaarda. Cherished grandfather of Austin, Alex, Katja, Othniel, Alek, Konrad, Miranda, and Octavia. Brother of Marvin Bender, and Mary (David) Bender. Jim will be lovingly remembered by GG and his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his infant son Alan Peter Bender (1993), his son Jayden Bender (2016), his parents Harold (2014) and Marie Bender (2021), and his sister Anne Bowyer (2006). Jim was loved by so many and will forever be missed by his many friends and family. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ontario Lung Association.
