Hart, Anna (Died)
- Full Text
Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in her 88th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Hart (2007). Loving mother of Heather Heath (Bob), Ronald Hart, Wendy Burns (Howard) and David Hart (late Pam). Cherished grandma of Charles Heath (Christine), Scott and Abbey Hart and Katie and Michael Burns. Special great grandma of Charlie Heath. Survived by her sister Fern Halliday (Billy) and sister-in-law Gayle Long. Predeceased by her parents George and Pearl Long and siblings Bobby and David Long (the late Adele). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
With a generous spirit, Anna, a splendid baker (her Christmas pies and treats were legendary), was soft-hearted, kind to all and put family first. Her door was always open for her children and grand kids who shared many happy moments at her home. Importantly, she never missed the opportunity to say "I love you" to family and visitors, while sharing her trademark hugs and kisses- a gentle and lasting reminder to capture every moment.
The family wishes to convey their special thanks to the staff at Woodingford Lodge (Mapleville) for their compassionate care.
A private family graveside service took place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Southwest Partners would be appreciated. Personal condolences may be sent at www.smithleroy.com
Arrangements have been left in the care of Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock (519-537-3611).
