Passed away in Orillia on Friday November 25, 2022, she was 97. Peggie was born in Hamilton, Ontario where her parents had settled after arriving from County Cork, Ireland. In 1929 the family moved to Ingersoll where Peg's father William worked as a bookkeeper for the New Idea Furnace Company.
Peg graduated from Sacred Heart Separate School, IDCI and the Wells Academy of Business. She and her husband Bert raised five children and Peg still found time to be an active volunteer with the Catholic Women's League, St. Jude's Breakfast Club, Sacred Heart Seniors Club, Woodington Lodge, Ingersoll Library Advisory Committee and 30 years delivering Meals On Wheels.
At the time of her passing Peg was a member of Guardian Angels Church Orillia. She was predeceased by her parents William and Margaret (Coakley) Ring; her sisters Nell, Laura Gorman and Dorothy Gorman; her brothers Cornelius and Rev. William Ring; her husband Albert; her son Michael and her son-in-law James Tazzeo.
She is survived by her son Edward (Michele); daughters Brenda (Carl) Raynard, Margaret (Ron) Beem and Michelle (Dr. James) Tazzeo and daughter-in-law Deborah. She will be missed by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Peg would like to thank all her family members for always being there for her and admonishes them to "Do the best you can - God will do the impossible."

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Vincent de Paul or the charity of your choice.
