Flood, Bruce Wayne (Died)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Wayne Flood. Bruce died on December 15, 2022 at the age of 76. A "cat with 9 lives", he survived cancer and heart disease, before finally succumbing to Lewy Body Dementia.

Beloved husband of Dianne for 45 years. Proud father to David (Chantel), Tracey (Jamie), Laurie (James) and Shannon. Cherished Poppa to Weston, Carver, Moira, and Liberty. Predeceased by his parents Rhea (Sally) and George Stanley Flood and brother Stan Flood (Diane).

Bruce was the first in his immediate family to attend university, earning a bachelor's degree from Ryerson as a mature student, and later an MPA from Queens. He worked in the printing and publishing industry, including 4 years at the Island Press in Bermuda. His kind heartedness and excellent sense of humor will be sorely missed by family and friends.

At his request there will be no funeral. His ashes will be interred with is parents at Harris St. Cemetery, Ingersoll, ON. Donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be sent to www.mcbeathdynes.ca.
