Cassidy, Richard "Dick" (Died)

It is with great sadness that the family announces Dick's passing on January 13, 2023 after a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Born in Montreal on June 11, 1935, to parents Dr. Creighton Cassidy and Kathleen Cassidy (nee Morton). Cherished husband of Nancy J. Cassidy (nee Bradshaw). Survived and sadly missed by daughters Heidi, Erin (Jerry), and sons Rick and Matt (Sarah), grandchildren Charlie, Simon, George, Arthur, Declan and Maggie. Predeceased in death by his parents, sister Neola (brother in-law Doug), and brother Neil (sister in-law Merle). The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004. The Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 25, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to Woodstock Hospital Foundation or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock.
