Shipp, Julie (née Hanmer) (Died)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 28, 2023 at Woodstock General Hospital in her 70th year. Julie was born on February 6, 1953 in Woodstock and was a lifelong resident. Julie was predeceased by her husband, Allan Shipp. Julie and Allan lovingly raised three children; Cody Shipp, Tyler Shipp and Brooke Allen, who started families with Stacey Shipp (nee Perdeaux), Julianne Shipp (nee Hoffman) and Brent Allen. Julie was a dedicated mother, attending numerous sports events and activities and providing many opportunities for her children. She continued this as her family grew and was an enthusiastic grandma to Sydney, Chase, Kennedy, Victoria, Hunter, Lukas, Turner and Maddox. Julie loved to spend time with all of her grandchildren. She was never happier than watching her grandchildren's activities, having adventures and sharing her love of crafts and games.

Julie is survived by her younger brother, Darryl Hanmer. His love and support throughout her life was very important to her.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday May 3 from 4-6 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service on Thursday May 4 at 11 a.m. held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave. 519-539-0004)
