Wortel, Theodora Henrica (Died)

After a long and wonderful life, Theodora passed away peacefully, and surrounded by her family, in Ottawa on August 21, 2023. Reunited with her beloved husband John Wortel (2001). Loving mother of Rene Wortel, Rudy (Katherine) Wortel, Rita (James) Graaskamp, and Ronald (Janet) Wortel. Cherished Oma of Jeremiah (Lynne), Johanna (Ryan), Jennica (Matthew), Emma (Anthony), Mareshal, and Ava. Beloved Oma Dora of Owen, Jaina, Arianna, Alessandro, Kellen and Klayton. Adoring sister of Trees Frensch in Holland. The family will receive guests at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock, ON, on Monday, August 28, 2023 between 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A luncheon will follow for family and guests. The committal service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Mary cemetery. Donations in Theodora's memory may be sent to the Red Cross.
