Chad Edward Waugh, a beacon of joy and childlike wonder, took his final bow on October 17, 2023. Born on April 18, 1984, in Woodstock, Ontario, Chad lived his entire life in the town he loved, proving that you don't have to travel far to lead an extraordinary life. Chad's zest for life was infectious, his spirit as timeless and enchanting as the Disney movies he loved. He was our very own Peter Pan, a boy who chose never to grow up, reminding us all of the beauty in retaining a child's heart and the magic of endless curiosity. His love for Lego and puzzles reflected his knack for seeing the bigger picture, patiently and joyfully piecing together the fragments of life to create something beautiful. Video games were another passion of Chad's, a virtual realm where he could explore, conquer, and create. He enjoyed going on cruises with his family, his favorite memory was the cruise to Hawaii in 2016, a testament to his love for adventure and discovery. Chad's soul was awakened by his love for animals. His life was a vivid tapestry of joy, creativity, and relentless positivity, a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Chad leaves behind his loving mother, Dianne, and his supportive siblings, George (Wendy), Jennifer, Warren (Michelle), and Deanna. He also joins his father, George, and brother, Ian, in a place where every day is an adventure, and the spirit of childhood never fades. Chad will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Traci, Hayley, Sabrina, George, Racheal and Gavin, his great nieces Autumn and Grace as well as extended family members and many friends. Chad's life was a testament to the power of joy, the value of imagination, and the magic of remaining forever young at heart. His story encourages us to embrace the child within, to seek out adventure, and to cherish every moment. Chad Edward Waugh, you will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us to live with joy, love with passion, and dream without limits.

Friends will be received at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1 p.m. Chad will be laid to rest with his father George and his brother Ian at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Woodstock.

For those who wish, memorial donations in memory of Chad may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association and Hillside or Oxford County Rescue.
