REDIGONDA, Alida Maria

With great sadness Alida's family announces her passing on October 20, 2023 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. Alida was the beloved wife of the late Francesco. Loving and devoted mother of Rose Marie (Paul Mullin) and Rick (Helma). Cherished Nonna of Nicole (Doug Dopko) and Anthony (Marlene).

Alida grew up in Ramuscello, Pordenone, Italy with both her cherished Mother Nilda Odorico and Nonna Rosalia Odorico. She immigrated to Canada where she met her husband and settled in Woodstock, Ontario. She loved cooking for friends and family and tending to her flower beds and vegetable garden. She also enjoyed volunteering in many capacities for her Church and community.

We are grateful to all of her family, friends and caregivers who helped Mom throughout the years.

The family will welcome visitors at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m., with a CWL rosary being said at 3:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 12 noon. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
