KONIGSHOFER, Julianna

July 10, 1931 - January 8, 2024

Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2024, Julianna (Magashazi) Konigshofer of RR2 Tillsonburg at the age of 92. Born in Hungary daughter of the late Joseph Magashazi and the late Julianna (Rosta) Magashazi. Predeceased by her much-loved husband of 61 years "Andy" Andreas Konigshofer (September 1, 2010). Much loved mother of: Frank (Brenda) Konigshofer, Woodstock, Joe (Tracy) Konigshofer, Tillsonburg, John (Laurie) Konigshofer, RR2 Otterville and David (Gail) Konigshofer, RR2 Tillsonburg. Proud and loving grandmother of Michael, Jeff, Tamara, Tania, Alisia, Jason, Abby, Andrea, Chad, Justin, Tricia and 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a loved infant son Andreas. Also predeceased by a sister Elizabeth and Lawrence Felagvari, and two brothers John and Rose Magashazi and Joe and Mary Magashazi.

Friends, neighbours and relatives were invited to attend a public visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg. Catholic Women's League Prayers on Friday at 4:00 p.m.in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 51 Venison St. W., Tillsonburg. Interment follows in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
