HARDEMAN, Jacob "Jack" Lubertus

February 5, 1951 - January 8, 2024

The Hardeman family sadly announce the peaceful passing of Jacob "Jack" Lubertus Hardeman into the Welcoming Arms of His Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, with his loving family by his side, at the age of 72. Jack was a member of Goshen Baptist Church. Born in the Netherlands, son of the late Aris Hardeman and late Arisje (Wallet) Hardeman. Much loved husband of 52 years of Margaret (Haley) Hardeman. Loving father and father-in-law of: Charlene (Tony Gunkel), of Woodstock and Adam (Krystal) Hardeman, of Straffordville. Always a tremendous and much-loved grandfather to Kasey Hardeman. Jack was a self-employed carpenter- he worked hard over the years to provide for his family. Jack's family was always his greatest priority in life. Jack was raised in a loving household, with fourteen siblings (five brothers and nine sisters): Effie, of London (late Jake Smits); late Ruth (late Adrian) Droogers; late Georgina (late Pete Vant hof); late Diana (late Fred de Jonge); Winnie, of Sweaburg (late Hank Butyn); George (Liz) Hardeman, of Stratford; Lucy, of Georgia, U.S.A (late Bobby Baldree); Brian (Helen) Hardeman, of Kirkton; late Wilma (Ken) Devine; late Erna (late Floyd Corbett); Ernie Hardeman M.P.P. (Reta), of Salford; Albert (Kelly) Hardeman, of London; late Jeanne (surviving husband Marty Morris), of Georgia, U.S.A.; and Nick (Carrie) Hardeman, of Woodstock. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Friends, relatives, and neighbours are invited to attend public visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (service time) in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A Christian Memorial Service to Celebrate Jack's Life will be conducted on Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, by Rev. Carl Walters, of Goshen Baptist Church. Inurnment in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Following inurnment, all funeral attendees are invited to attend a reception at Goshen Baptist Church Hall (385 - 2nd Concession Rd. NTR, Tillsonburg). Friends and relatives are invited to leave letters of support, share condolences and favourite memories, send flowers, or contribute memorial donations to the "Goshen Baptist Church" or to any charity of your choice, via www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
