Allan, Dale (Died)

Affectionately known as 'Atki' to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, at the age of 63 in Woodstock, Ontario. Dale was the cherished son of Howard (Linda Swance), and the late Eva (2013). He was a loving father to his daughters, Melissa, (Konrad Bauza), and Lindsey, (Scott Miller). His beloved granddaughters, Mercedes, Lily, and Chloe. He was a dear brother to Brian (Sandra), Della (Dan Charron), and Barry. Dale's warmth and generosity extended to many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers, who all held a special place in his heart. For over 33 years, Dale served the City of Woodstock with dedication and took pride in his contribution to the community. Dale was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding solace and joy at his hunting grounds in Eastwood and the family boathouse in Port Rowan. Dale's love for the outdoors was infectious, and he often shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with those around him. His legacy as a mentor and friend in the hunting and fishing communities will be remembered by many.

Dale's life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodstock Navy Club, 959 James Street. The family has asked for a casual dress code.
