Once he completed a business course at WEstern University, he became the Director of Operations at the London Flying Club. His experience was gaining attention in the flying world and he was offered a position in Toronto, advancing and becoming Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations for another company that operated twin, turbine twin and jet aircraft. After nine years with this company, it closed because of the economy and Terry was offered the position of Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations for a company that flew turbine and jet aircraft. He was offered the position of flying a large corporate jet for a well known Canadian family, from which he retired at 67 after 8 years with the company and 30 years of flying jet aircraft from Toronto Pearson Airport.
