CUTHBERT, Wayne York

Passed away surrounded by the love of his dear wife Dolly and family at Sakura House on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the age of 80.

Loving husband of Dolly Cuthbert (nee Wright) for 33 years. Cherished as a father by Cathy Moffatt, Chuck (Cathy) Moffatt, Brad (Jackie) Moffat, and beloved by his many grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Howard Cuthbert, sister Ruth Hughes, sister-in-law Dee Lamarche, brothers-in-law Ken (Darlene) Wright, and Skip (Darlene) Williams. Predeceased by his parents Rita Nichols and Grant Cuthbert, his dear son Christopher Cuthbert (2022), and brother Larry Cuthbert (2021). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Wayne was a man with endless talents. He bought his cousin Elmer's garage on Finkle St. in 1976 and ran it successfully until covid and cancer. He was a car enthusiast and extremely knowledgeable about cars and collected them in every size. He enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, the biggest project being a beautiful gazebo. He will be forever missed by Dolly, family and his many friends.

Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Sakura House for keeping him as comfortable as possible in the last week of his life.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
