It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Margaret S. Jamieson (nee Anderson), who left this world on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, with her loving daughters by her side. She was in her 77th year.

Margaret was the cherished wife of the late Dennis Jamieson and a beloved mother to Sue Ann (John) Martin, Beth (Jeremy Gillanders) Jamieson, and Coral (Adam) Defayette. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Chelsea and Andrew Martin; Myla and Lexis Defayette; Xzander, Zayden, and Kimberly.

Marg was the daughter of the late Willa and John Anderson. She is survived by her siblings Kathy Anderson and John Anderson, and was preceded in death by her brother Jim Anderson.

Margaret dedicated much of her life to the Oxford Regional Centre, where she was a valued long-time employee. After retirement, she worked at Gencor (EastGen), and has been a passionate supporter to the Canada's Outdoor Farm Show

One of Margaret's greatest joys was the time spent on the family horse farm, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Her vivacious spirit, quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and bold personality made her a force to be reckoned with. Margaret's presence left an enduring impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Messages and condolences for the family can be sent to margsmemorial@gmail.com

A private gathering of family and friends will take place. If desired the family kindly requests donations to be made in Margaret's honor to Sakura House, https://von.ca/en/donate-now-to-von-oxford-sakura-house

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of the memories she created and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to be a part of her life.
