Full Text

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Cannard Dawdry on October 4 2024 , at the age of 78.

Forever cherished and loved by his wife and best friend Eileen Dawdry (Harris). Survived by his son Brad Langford (Stacey Langford,) 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, Sisters Ruth Ann Wardle, Verna Bryan (Dawdry), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wayne was the 13th of 13 children, who never batted an eye to help whomever he could. His quick wit, his humor, and lighthearted jokes will be missed immensely. He loved fiercely with all he had.

Wayne was proud of his 30 year career at Ford Talbot, and continued to be proud of being in the Ford family during his retirement. As Wayne wishes there will be no funeral service, however there will be a graveside burial on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Harris St Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. for those who wish to come. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or an organization of your choice.
