Allan, Jean (née Crichton) (Died)

Unexpectedly at the John Noble Home on October 10, Jean Allan, nee Crichton passed away in her 93rd year.

Jean was predeceased in 2020 by her beloved husband, the Rev. Gordon Allan. Cherished Mother of Lois (Scott) Emmel, Philip and Andrew (Rahel). Much loved grandmother of Alexandra and Lydia. Sister of Howard (the late Vi) Crichton. Aunt to David (Betty) Crichton, Carolyn (Ken) Jamieson and Sandra Hungate, Cousin of Alton (Aletha) Albin and John (Judy) Albin. Predeceased by her parents George and Margery Crichton, in laws, Barbara and Stewart Hungate, David Allan and Daughter-in-law Laureen Allan.

Jean loved her Lord, her family and friends. She derived pleasure over the years from the cottage at Waubaushene, swimming, canoeing, sewing, quilting, art and the late Queen Elizabeth.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 19, at the First Baptist Church, 603 Adelaide St, Woodstock, commencing at 1p.m., followed by the interment in the Baptist Cemetery and then refreshments at the church.
