Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital, on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Barbara Acres (nee Bidewell) for 48 years. Survived by his sisters, Evelyn (late Art) Maginnis, and Lois (Allan) Zilke, and brother Jim (Jean) Acres. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Kathy (Tom) Blinkhorn, Lynda Koch (Paul Cushing), and mother-in-law Audrey Bidewell and late father-in-law Allan Bidewell. Fondly remembered by many friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Church of the Epiphany, at 1:00 p.m. Reception will follow after the service. Interment in Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
He was a Mason for many years, and also happily dressed as a Gentleman Tramp for the Clown Unit of the Woodstock Shrine Club.
