SHELLY, Richard Alan "Rick" - After a courageous battle with leukemia at the Victoria Campus of London Health Sciences Center. Rick Shelly passed on to be with our Lord on October 15, 2006 in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Stella (Dedrick) for 35 years. Survived by his children Trevor Shelly, Angela DaCosta and her husband Mike all of Woodstock. Grandpa will be missed by his grandsons Aaron and Ethan DaCosta. Cherished son of Ada and the late Harry W. Shelly (1997). Brother of Harry Russell Shelly, Randy Shelly and his wife Laurie and the late Wayne Shelly (1995). Son-in-law of Lawrence and Grace Dedrick. Brother-in-law of Larry and Mary Dedrick, Sheldon and Sandra Dedrick, Maxine and Philip Lewis, Judy and Rob Mabee, Gloria and Brad Sinnesael, Brad and Judy Dedrick. Loved Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Rick was a member of the Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #55, and the Norfolk Woodlot owners Association. Relatives and friends may call at the JEFFREY W. GLENDINNING FUNERAL HOME, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Charles Mayo officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia Research, or London Health Sciences Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
