Leis, Nora May (née Barber) (Died)

LEIS - At her residence on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, Nora May Leis (nee Barber) late of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of 83 Kent Street, Woodstock at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Elias “Al” Leis (1999). Loving Mum of Larry and Sharon Leis and Linda and Bill Thorne of Woodstock, Phyllis and Garry Wale of Arkona, Ron and Carol Leis of Oxford Centre, Shirley and Bob McDougall of Delhi, and Marilyn and John Peart of Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia. Fondly remembered by her twenty-one grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy Tupper, Cecil Barber, Margaret Hawkins and Berva Czuper. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Leis, grandson Mark Putland, brothers Andrew and Charles Barber, and sisters Velma Guider and Marion Pye. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Woodingford Lodge. A family service was held on Saturday, November 11th, 2006 at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, Woodstock with Rev. Christine Downey officiating, followed by interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
