“Riding with God’s Angels” - FEWSTER, Ronald George “Hawk”, born December 30, 1949, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2006. He has left behind his family who will always remember him with love and lots of smiles. They are: His wife, best friend and soul mate, Cathy; His mother, Gertie Fewster and her best friend, Spike Logan; His favourite father and mother-in-law, George and Verna Riffel; All who he considers his brothers and sisters: Al (Alfonse) and Marlene (Wilson) Fewster, Gary (Scrog) and Sue Fewster, Bruce (Rif) and Wendy (Wendell) Riffel. Also all who he considers his nieces and nephews: Jess Fewster and Chris Pepper, Tiffany Fewster and Moe Morris, Sarah Fewster and Jeff Heinbuck, Amanda Fewster and Jay Horton, Jody Riffel and Jamie Riffel, Chris Rovers and Nick Rovers. Last but not least his beloved walking buddy Cali (his Goofy Dog). Ron was predeceased by his father Carl Fewster in 2002 and by his beloved Snickers in 2004. He loved from afar and has never forgotten his children, Jennifer and Jacob. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ron has also left behind many friends who will always cherish his love, friendship and sense of humor. The support of family, friends, doctors, nurses and care workers this past year will never be forgotten by Ron, Cathy and Cali. Love and thanks to all. Anyone knowing Ron knew he loved sports, especially his golf, fishing and baseball. He really loved and treasured his walks with Snickers, Cali and Cathy. He always had a nickname for everyone. Friends and relatives are invited to join with the family for a time of memorial visitation at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m., where a memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Furry officiating. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held following the memorial service at the Oxford Golf and Country Club (Craigowan). Come prepared to reminisce and smile. All guests wishing to participate are asked to bring their drivers, a golf ball and tee to “Tee-it-up” on the 1st hole in Ron’s memory! In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VON Hospice Sakura House. “ Hawk is okay riding his Harley with God’s Angels”
