Vos, Magdalena "Lena" Johanna (née Roorda) (Died)

VOS - Suddenly and peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Caressant Care Retirement Home, the Lord took unto himself Magdalena “Lena” Johanna Vos (nee Roorda) of Woodstock, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Johannes “John” Vos (1983). Loving mother of Tina and Bill Van Vugt of London, Henry and Kim Vos of Mississauga, Brian and Susan Vos of Calgary, LCol Edward and Maj Jacqueline Vos of Ottawa, and Hilda and Scott Kuch of Woodstock. Dear Gramma and Oma of Michelle, Billy, Jolene, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Alana, Jared, Jordan, Simon, Adrianne, Leanne and Christine. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters in The Netherlands. Special thanks to Stan Triemstra and his family for the special friendship and support given to our mother. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2007 for a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Loerts of Covenant Christian Reformed Church officiating. Private interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
