BLACK - Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2007. George “Scotty” Black of Chieftain St. Woodstock and formerly of Palmerston and Brampton in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia (Pat). Dear father of Alex (Sandy) and his wife Connie Johnstone of Barrie, Shonna Ward and her husband Bruce of Hickson. Beloved grandfather of Leah, Darren, Travis (Jodee) Black and Richard and Nancy Johnstone; Brad, Chris, Cory, and Luke Ward. Loved great grandfather of McKenna, Elias, Sabrina and Riley. Dear father-in-law of Debra Black of Winnipeg. Survived by three sisters and four brothers. Predeceased by a brother and a sister. Scotty was a member of the Twin Seas Caravan Club since 1974 and the Gypsy Campers. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held in the chapel of the R.D. LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004). Contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Woodstock General Hospital I.C.U. would be appreciated.
