MOORE - Following a lengthy illness. Jean Margaret Moore (nee Quigley), passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 23, 2007 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Burt Collins Moore (1981). Dear mother of Don (Gianna) Moore of Cambridge and Stepmother of Yvonne (Bill) Whitehead of Woodstock. Loved grandma to Cameron and Brandon Moore. Jean is also survived by her brother Norman (Donna) Quigley of St. Thomas, her sister Catherine Attridge of West Lorne and her sister in law Dora Oliver of Pierce City, Missouri. Jean will be also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Annabel (1987) and John (1979) Quigley of St. Thomas and Step daughter Marion Bains. Jean was born March 19, 1924 in West Lorne and worked for many years for the Frank Cowan Insurance Company in Woodstock. Jean was a life member of The Order of The Eastern Star, the Woodstock General Hospital Auxiliary and a longtime, dedicated member of Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church. In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, a memorial service will be held at Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 723 Dundas St., Woodstock on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Genge officiating. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Woodstock General Hospital Auxiliary Fund would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D.
