McNAMARA, Harold (Proudly served in WWII; Korean War; PPCLI 2nd Battalion; 44 years with OC Transpo; the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union Local 279). Peacefully on Friday April 13, 2007 age 80. Cherished husband of Janet Morin for 55 years. Loving father of Dan (husband of Shannon Kennedy) and Sharron (wife of Kim Nash). Much loved grampa Haldo of Timothy James (T.J.), Sean and Emily McNamara; Chelsea and Cameron Nash. Predeceased by sisters Lucy, Mary and Emmie; brothers Tom, Lorne, Tim, Pat and Joey. Harold was admired by many and created amazing friendships with people everywhere. Special thanks to Dr. Wilbur Keon, Dr. Ruddy, Dr. Calvin, Dr. Hendry, Dr. Lewis, nurses and staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute and the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus Dialysis Unit for the wonderful care given to Harold. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. (centretown) from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, April 17, 2007 to St. George's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Isidore's parish cemetery. In memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Civic Campus Dialysis Unit appreciated. Kelly Funeral Homes, 613-235-6712.
