FLETCHER - Morris Warner Roderick Fletcher passed away in Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. He was born at Dunvegan, Kenyon Township, Glengarry County, Ontario on March 8, 1939 a son of the late Ernest and Beatrice (Morris) Fletcher. He attended Maxville High School in Maxville and the Ontario Teacher’s College in Toronto. Throughout his life he received great pleasure from sports, particularly hockey, whether as a participant or a spectator. Warner will be sadly missed by all his family; his wife, the former Kathryn Buchan Kingwell; his daughters Pamela Fletcher and husband Joseph DaPonte, Elizabeth and husband Jimmy Bennett, all of Woodstock; his sister Faye and husband Rod Zsadany of Burlington; his brother, James Fletcher and wife Marilyn Stickles of Nepean and his nephew, Charles Fletcher of Seattle, Washington. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his step-father, Norman Fletcher; his brothers, Duncan, Ernest (in infancy) and Norman (in infancy) and by his sister Shirley Fletcher. Relatives and friends will be received in the FRANCIS FUNERAL HOME, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Marion Jackson Tyler will officiate. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
