HENDERSHOT - At Caressant Care Retirement Home on Friday, June 8, 2007. Ruth Loraine Hendershot (nee Shelby) of Woodstock in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Fred Roy Hendershot (1979). Dear sister of Eileen Hayward and her husband William of Woodstock and sisters-in-law Ruth Shelby of Brantford, Joan Shelby of Vancouver, BC and Arlene Bouwer of Vancouver Island, BC. Ruth will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and very special great-great nieces and nephews. Loved mother of Janice Ziraldo of Orillia and grandson Jeffery of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Ernest (1967) and Edna Shelby (1986), her brothers Colebrook (1994), Clifford (1993), Bruce (1998) and by her sister Kathleen (1939). Ruth was a former teacher with the Waterloo County Board of Education for 25 years and was a supporter of the United Church of Canada. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519)539-0004 on Wednesday after 12:00 p.m., where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Princeton Cemetery.
