HURN, Mary Esther (Williamson) - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, July 23, 2007 in her 86th year. Loving wife of predeceased Rev. Alex Hurn. Beloved mother of Lynda, Nancy and Bryon and his wife Linda. Proud grandmother of Bernadette, Joy, Hope, Patrick, Roderick, Byron, Jonathan, Mary-Lynne, and Christina, and great grandmother of four. One of eight siblings, she was born October 2, 1921 in Paris, Ontario. She was the faithful, loyal support of her pastor husband Alex for 47 years in Battersea, Smith Falls, Arnprior, Kirkland Lake, Listowel, Espanola, Mactier, Beachburg, and Woodstock. Friends may call at the ROADHOUSE & ROSE FUNERAL HOME, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Sunday, July 29 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the Newmarket Alliance Church, 1140 Gorham St., Newmarket on Monday, July 30 at 1 p.m. She will be interred in Paris beside her husband. Special thanks to friends and helpers from Newmarket Alliance Church, Cedarview Community Church, Alzheimer Society (Day Program), MacKenzie Place and C.C.A.C. If desired, donations in memory of Mary can be made to Alzheimer Society or Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada Foreign Missions.
