JAMES, Edith - At the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2007 in her 95th year, Edith James (nee Draper). Beloved wife of the late Melvan (Mel) L. James (2002) for 68 years. Much loved mother of Melva White and her late husband Lloyd (1983) of Brantford, Alice Ross and her husband John of Brantford, and Wilma McKinnon and her husband Grant, of Owen Sound. Loving grandmother of six grand children and 10 great-grandchildren and predeceased by granddaughter Laurie Hooker in 2002. Dear sister of Lillan Arthur, Brantford. Predeceased by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. The family will receive friends at MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd. N., Brantford, on Monday from 1p.m. until 2.p.m. A family service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. followed by interment in Farringdon Burial Ground. If wished, memorial donations to Brain Tumour Research at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto or to the Brantford General Hosptial would be gratefully appreciated.
