WAUGH - At the London Health Science Centre on Thursday, September 20, 2007. George T. Waugh of Woodstock in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Dianne J. (Nee Flannigan) Waugh for over 43 years. Dear father of George and his wife Wendy, Jennifer Waugh, Warren and his wife Michelle, Deanna Waugh and Chad all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Tracie, Hayley, Sabrina, George Austyn and Racheal and brother-in-law of Hugh G. Flournoy of Seattle and Doug Roth of Hickson. Predeceased by his son Ian (1990) and by his sisters Rosemary Flournoy and Dianne Roth. George was a longtime City of Woodstock arena staff member. He spent over 25 years dedicating his time and energy with the Woodstock Minor Hockey as a coach, convener and as President. George also spent over 10 years with the girls “Wildcats” hockey league and several years with the Woodstock Navy Vets. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Presbyterian Cemetery.
