MURDOCH - At Caressant Care, Woodstock on Sunday, September 23, 2007, Mary Lorraine Murdoch (nee Suddard) of Woodstock and formerly of Oshawa, at the age of 79 years, 8 months. Predeceased by her husband Bruce (1998), her parents Harry Suddard and Olive Stovin, her brothers Harold, Frank, Bruce, and Ted, and her sister Beatrice Crothers. Survived by her sister Doris Clark (Bill) of Minden, and her brothers Bill (Kaye), Henry (Grace), and Ross (Doreen), all of Oshawa. Dear mother of Richard (Mona) of Woodstock, Paul of Woodstock, Terry of Orono, Sandra Knapp (Daniel) of Pontypool, and Laurie Bateman (Peter) of Thunder Bay. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Jillian and Jonathan Murdoch; Pamela Anderson (Matt); Michael Knapp; and Kira, Shannon and Elysia Bateman. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Glen Wright officiating. Cremation followed by interment later at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Oshawa.
