ROBOTTOM - Peacefully at Caressant Care, Woodstock on Sunday, October 28, 2007, Mary Ellen Robottom (nee Pierce), having just celebrated her 99th birthday. She has joined her beloved husband Aubrey (1974). She will be greatly missed by her daughter Donna, grandchildren Marci MacQueen of Toronto and David MacQueen (Nancy) of Sarnia, and great grandchildren Zack, Julie, and Dylan. Also predeceased by two sons Ronald and James and grandson Edward. Ellen was an original member and manager of Rochdale Credit Union, actively involved in College Avenue Church and the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club, and enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation followed by interment later at the Anglican Cemetery.
