HENDERSON - Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, James (Nip) Henderson, of Ingersoll, in his 88th year. Husband of the late Marjorie (Taylor) Henderson (2002). Dear father of Paul and his wife Wendy of Ingersoll and the late John Henderson (1999). Dear grandfather of Meghan of Toronto, Jenny of Toronto, Laura of Melborne, Australia, Matthew (Shannon) of Ottawa and Kirsten of Ottawa. Father-in-law of Sue Henderson of Ottawa and Angela Kennedy (Kelly) of Manotick. Dear brother of Bob Henderson of Florida and Eleanor and her husband Meredith Walker of Ingersoll. He will be missed by his loyal companion Fred (the cat). Friends will be received at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Ingersoll on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. James Carr officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church or Alexandra Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Nip was a WWII veteran, Bomber Command of 425 Squadron, Past Director of the Ingersoll Golf and Country Club and Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #119, Ingersoll. He was also an avid sports person and he was a member of the Ingersoll Sports Hall of Fame. His life was enriched by the many personal and professional relationships throughout his life.
