ALYEA - At her residence on Sunday, November 25, 2007. M. Helen Alyea (nee Birtch) of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Oxford Centre in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Parnell S. Alyea (1985). Dear mother of Lloyd and his wife Phyllis of Oxford Centre and Gerald and his wife Jeanette of Thamesford. Loved grandmother of Brad (Anne), Nancy (Rob), Kathy (Dave), Phillip (Val), Barry (Shelley), Darcy (Sandra), Jason (Jennifer) and great grandmother of fifteen. Helen is also survived by her sister Ruth Magill of Woodstock, by her sister-in-law Ruth Bill of Tavistock, her brother-in-law Doug Alyea of Belleville and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Mckay, Charlie, Austin and Frank and her sisters Marion and Annabelle. Helen was a longtime member of the Central United Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday, November 26, 2007 from 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
