HOOK – At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 after a brief illness, Vera Kathleen Hook, of R.R. #3, Woodstock was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Alan (1980). Mother of Ann White (Steve) of North Carolina, Judith Crofts (Graham) of England, Jonathan Hook (Leona) of R.R. #3, Woodstock, and David Hook (Vickie) of Timmins. Grandmother of Valerie White, Ivan White, David Crofts, Anna Wade (Ronan), Peter Hook (Sarah), Robin Abel (Mike), Cindy Hook, Kevin Hook, Daniel Hook (Meredith), Ruth Hook, and Michael Hook, and great grandmother of Beth, Noah and Katherine Abel. Sister of Philip Hook (Rosemary) of England. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at South Zorra Baptist Church, 13th Line (North of Oxford County Road 17) on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Alan Calcutt officiating. Interment at Innerkip Cemetery.
