GILES - Peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care, Bracebridge, on Friday, November 30, 2007, George Roy Giles of Bracebridge and formerly of Woodstock, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (2004). Loving father of Lynda Tucker and her husband Jim of Port Sydney. Dear grandfather of Julie Marsh and her husband Ron of Woodstock and Jeff Tucker of Alberta and great grandfather of Jessica, Olivia, Sara and Steven. Dear brother of Ralph Giles (late Rita) of London, and the late Frank, Alex, Percy, Bill, Hilda Burgess, Louise Voll, Pearl Wilcox, Beatrice Miles, Victoria Arthrell and Gladys Dentinger. Life-long friend of Peter Leo (Bonnie) of London. George was a veteran of WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy and was a longtime member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Monday, 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
