ROBERTS —David Daniel - Retired, O.P.P Sergeant. Suddenly in his residence in Newmarket, on Monday, December 24th, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Freda M. (Hilderley) for almost 48 years. Cherished Father of Deanna and her husband Steve Clark of Brockville and Kevin and his wife Linda of Newmarket. Dear Grandfather of Jordan, Alex and Meghan Lysko, Mitchell and Caitlin Clark and Holly, Ben, Heidi and Chloe Roberts, all of Brockville. Dear Brother of Bob (Doris), Ray (Pauline) Roberts of Woodstock and Fred (Inge) Roberts of Kingston and sister-in-law Dorothy Roberts of Guelph. Also survived by sister-in-law Annie Bond, of Woodstock, Brothers-in-law Robert (Mae) Hilderley of Innerkip and Leonard (Sue) Hilderley of Waterloo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Bryan D. Roberts (2005) and by his parents Sidney and Florence Roberts and his brother Kenneth Roberts and sister Dorothy Schertzberg-Mercer. At David's request he rested with private family visitation at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, Davis Drive, Newmarket. Cremation. Memorial Service and interment in the spring in the family plot in the Innerkip Cemetery, Innerkip, Ontario.
