Tyler, Vera Dorene (née Bigham) (Died)

TYLER, Vera Dorene (nee Bigham), wife of the late William Tyler, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2007. She has four children Gordon (Lynne), Maybeth Henderson (Glen - deceased), John (Gillian), and Elizabeth Jones (Kurt), 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Vera was a missionary in China, hostess for the Overseas Missionary Fellowship base in Toronto for 28 years, and has since worked with Scripture Union, Pocket Testament League and Mustard Seed Mission. In her late 80’s, she completed three books on her laptop which are treasured by the family, but she is most appreciated as Mom and Grandma. A memorial service will be held at North Park Community Church, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, on January 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the OMF or to Faith’s Orphans Fund.
