Ruckle - Peacefully with family at her residence in Ingersoll on Saturday, March 1, 2008, Prudence (Heeney) Ruckle, in her 106th year. Daughter of the late Frederick and Edith (Nichols) Heeney. Wife of the late Harry Ruckle (1971). Dear mother of Reta and her husband Bill Budd of R.R.#1, Beachville, Ruth Allin of Foldens and Edith Somers of Ingersoll. Also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Special friend of Bella Chambers, Doris Banbury, Ana Bajer and Alberta Pyatt. Predeceased by two sisters Mildred (Albert) Batten and Nora (Arthur) Clysdale, two brothers Elmer (Mattie) (Lily) Heeney and Carl (Nina) Heeney, two sons-in-law Don Allin and Sam Somers and one grandson Jeff Allin. Mrs. Ruckle was a member of Trinity United Church, Ingersoll and U.C.W., former member of the Ingersoll Horticultural Society, Seniors for Health, West Oxford United Church and Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of West Oxford Women's Institute, and an original member of Woodingford Lodge Auxiliary. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll (519-425-1600) Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Mayoros officiating. Spring interment Harris Street Cemetery. Memorial donations to Trinity United Church Foundation or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
