WROBEL – Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2008, Pearl Eileen Wrobel (nee Sinclair) of Woodstock in her 85th year. Loving wife of 59 years of the late Jan Wrobel. Cherished mother of Janek Wrobel (Christine) of Britain and Brian Wrobel of Woodstock. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Teresa Danyel McEwen of Seattle, Simon Wrobel of London, England, and Hayley Wrobel of Madrid, Spain, and great granddaughter Hannah Miller of Seattle. Also remembered by her family in Britain. Pearl was previously a member of the I.O.D.E. Havelock Chapter and had served as the secretary of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment later at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Smith-LeRoy, (519) 537-3611.
