BLAKLEY, Virginia Ann - At Leisure World Oxford Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, with her family at her side, Virginia Blakley, formerly of Salford, in her 77th year. Dear mother of Linda (Harvey) Gardner, Brian (Evelyn) Forsyth, daughter-in-law Joyce Forsyth of St. Thomas, Thomas (Linda) Burwell of Eastwood, Timothy (Mary) Burwell, Terry (Mary) Burwell, Trudy (Ross) Gee, Karen (Wade) Purdy, all of Ingersoll, Teresa Smith (Lonny), Donna Scott (Jim) of Tillsonburg. Dear sister of Mildred (Clarence) Behee, Elma Meatherall of St. Thomas. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her longtime partner Jack, her parents Clifford and Dorthea, her son Kenneth, two brothers, Harold and Donald, one sister, Doris. Virginia is resting at VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Complete Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Virginia Ann (Harris) Blakley to be conducted on Thursday, March 20th, 2008, at 1 p.m. Spring interment Delmer Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Cancer Society or any charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
