DAVIDSON - At Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2008, James “Scotty” Davidson of Woodstock in his 95th year. Husband of the late Janet (nee McLeavy) (1988). Dearly beloved father of Helen Armour and Ian Davidson, both of Woodstock, and the late Sandy Davidson (1978) and James Davidson (in infancy). Lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Jim was the last remaining member of his immediate family, having been predeceased by four brothers and one sister. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Scotland. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., under the auspices of Khaki Chapter No. 27. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Major Jack Strickland officiating. Interment later at the Presbyterian Cemetery.
