Collens, Stephen D'arcy (Died)

Collens - Suddenly at his residence in Tillsonburg on Friday, May 2, 2008 D'arcy Stephen Collens age 53 years. Loving son of Marie Bradshaw (nee Vollmershausen) of Woodstock, and the late Clayre Collens (2000). Beloved father of David Collens of Brantford, Jason Collens of Brantford, and Brittany Collens of Tillsonburg. Loving grandfather to Nicholas Richard Depater. Dear brother of Randy Collens of Tillsonburg, Barry (Wanda) Collens of Straffordville, Stephen Collens and his friend Gayle Jacobs of London. Also, survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles in the Woodstock area. D'arcy was employed at Cami in Ingersoll for 19 years, and before that worked at Johnson Controls for 12 years. He worked in tobacco for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. He owned DC Woodworking where he made many wood crafts. He was an avid baseball player, and certainly loved his animals. The family will receive friends, neighbours, and family at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. (only). Funeral service for D'arcy will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. Captain Jack Strickland of Woodstock Salvation Army officiating. Cremation to follow.
