Prouse, Garnett Francis (Died)

PROUSE - Passed away at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Sunday, June 15, 2008, Garnett Francis Prouse, of Ingersoll, in his 76th year. Garnett was the devoted husband of Shirley (Benson) whom he married September 27, 1958. Loving father of his two children, Connie Margerum (Robert) and Tom Prouse and wife Shauna all of Ingersoll, and his four beautiful granddaugthers, whom he was so proud of and loved dearly, Victoria and Alisha Prouse, Katrina and Samantha Margerum. Survived by his stepmother Margaret Prouse and his brothers Keith and his wife Shirley, John and his wife Jean and his sisters Marjorie and her husband Earl Moulton and Janet and her husband Arnold Belore, Carole and her husband Gordon Moulton all of Mt. Elgin and Valerie and her husband Andy VanRyswyck of Milton and his sister-in-law Patricia Prouse of Ingersoll. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Irvin and Gertrude Prouse and his brother Irvin, Junior (Bun). Garnett and his brothers Keith and John are owners of Prouse Transport, Mt. Elgin. He was a devoted member of St. James Anglican Church, Ingersoll, the B.A.C. and choir member until November 2007. In keeping with Garnett's wishes there will be no funeral home visitation. Please join his family and friends for a joyful celebration for this kind, gentle and dedicated man who enjoyed music and his church family, to be celebrated by Rev. James Carr at St. James Anglican Church, Oxford St., Ingersoll on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Harris Street Cemetery.
